After more than 30 years of playing and teaching, I’ve settled into a quieter chapter. Here you’ll find Debra Peters accordion lessons online sessions, a few stories from the road, and links to my music. I’m glad to finally offer my original Accordion Blues Chords & Chops lesson as a digital download — 55 minutes of practical blues and roots techniques for piano accordion. My all original, homegrown produced, lesson DVD from 2005 is available now for $25. I also teach private accordion lessons and piano lessons online using Google Meet. Are you familiar with it yet? It’s similar to Zoom. Over the years I was fortunate to play roots music — blues, zydeco, Texas swing, and Tex-Mex — mostly around Austin with a really great bunch of musicians were my Love Saints. Many of our live shows from The Broken Spoke are on my YouTube channel if you’d like to listen.
